Miso and onion soup

Ingredients

2 tablespoon miso, dissolved in a bit of water
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
5 medium onions, sliced
50 gram grated cheese
1 tablespoon flour

Servings: 4



Recipe directions

Put vegetable oil in a pot, add the onions and fry for a few minutes until onions are tender. Add 1 liter of water and boil for 30 minutes. Mix in the miso and flour (first dissolved in 50 ml water) and bring to boiling point. Remove from heat.

Serve the miso soup hot in cups and sprinkle with the grated cheese.
