Pita with chilli


2 Tbs oil
2 onions
2 chopped green peppers
2 garlic cloves
2 tomatoes
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 small can tomato paste
1 cube beef stock
1 can of soya beans (400 gr)
1 cup shredded lettuce
100 gr grated cheese
4 hot pita breads

Recipe directions

Sauté in a hot pan two tablespoons oil with 1 chopped onion, 2 garlic cloves and 2 sliced tomatoes. Add a cup of water and leave to simmer for 10 minutes. Then stir in the soya beans, tomato paste, chilli powder and beefstock cube. If necessary add a little bit of water.

Cut the hot pita breads in half and open up a little bit. Fill with one Tbs of shredded lettuce and top this with the chili sauce.

Serve with chopped onion, chopped green pepper and grated cheese.
