Sensorial evaluation
When mixed with plain water, the taste of this soy protein isolate is very bland and cereal like, whereas the texture is thick and smooth. This product is ideal to thicken drinks and increase protein content. When you make your own soy yogurt, adding 2 table spoons of soy protein helps to increase the thickness of the final yogurt

Remarks
Soy protein isolate is expensive but if you only look at the protein content (cost per kg pure soy protein) it is about 2 times cheaper than commercial soy milk. On the other hand, soy protein isolate is less healthy than soy milk because it does not contain the soy fibres and the content of isoflavones and other phytochemicals is unknown (not mentioned on label).
