The aroma of this instant miso soup is nice and typical. The taste is dominated by the seaweeds. There are a few pieces of vegetables and seaweed, but besides this the texture of the miso soup is very thin.

For centuries, Japanese have converted soybeans, cereals and sea salt into miso with natural ferments (koji). Instant miso soup is made from dried miso and has been developed for ease of use. Instructions: put the contents of a small sachet instant misosoep in a bowl, add 2 cups of hot water, stir, let it stand for a minute and serve warm.
