Peanut sauce with miso

Ingredients

100 g roasted peanuts, unsalted
1 clove garlic crushed
2 tablespoon miso
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
200 ml water
1 medium onion, minced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon parsley, minced



Recipe directions

Combine the peanuts, garlic, Tabasco sauce, miso, honey and water. Bring to boil and allow to cool. When cold, mix in blender until smooth.

Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet and add the onion. Bake the onion until browned and crispy.

Mix the onion with the peanut sauce and pour into serving dish. Sprinkle with the minced parsley.

This peanut sauce with miso can be served cold or hot over rice, noodles or vegetables.
